The Lakers won two of the final three games going into the break and are 27-32 with a lot of work to do if they want to make a run at the playoffs. However, the new LeBron James-Anthony Davis-D’Angelo Russell core played pretty well, so there is certainly hope in LA.

The Warriors still don’t have Stephen Curry in the lineup. In his absence, Jordan Poole and Klay Thompson have been shouldering the load, but one or both of Andrew Wiggins and Draymond Green need to step up before the Warriors fall out of the playoff race.

These two teams have only met twice this season. Golden State won on opening night but the Lakers won a couple of weeks ago without LeBron James in the lineup.

LeBron suffered a scare during the All-Star Game after injuring his finger, but head coach Darvin Ham admitted there are no issues going forward and LeBron is ready to turn on the jets at an all-time high.

The Warriors are 26-31-1 against the spread this year and 7-6 when the spread is 4.5 in the other team’s favor.

The Lakers are 10-6 in games in which they are the favorite, and the long break might have done them the best out of all the teams in the NBA. Both teams can score points, so the over here seems like an easy pick, especially with both teams well-rested.
