UFC Saudi Arabia Three Best Moneyline Bets
Shamil Gaziev (13-1) vs Thomas Petersen (9-2)
Successfully bouncing back from his first pro loss last time out, Gaziev looks to get another streak going to the main event on another card. His powerful wrestling and relentless forward pressure make him a tough out for most opponents. Read more UFC Saudi Arabia three best moneyline bets.
Petersen had a flawless striking performance last time against Mohammed Usman, showcasing that he is just not a wrestler. I think Petersen’s loss to Pogues awoke something in him and we will continue to see improved versions of him moving forward.
Gaziev requires his wrestling or cage clinch to be effective over 15 minutes. Going up against a wrestler like Petersen is going to be a tough task, especially considering how comfortable Petersen seems to be getting in the striking realm. If Petersen can showcase the defensive grappling and urgency we’ve seen from him, this +270 will seem like an absolute steal.
The Pick: Thomas Petersen +270

Fares Ziam (16-4) vs Mike Davis (11-2)
We may have seen the best version of Fares Ziam last time out as he put away Matt Frevola in emphatic fashion. Ziam is a kickboxer who is improving his defensive grappling so he can keep fights standing. He is also becoming a man now, at 27 years old he is growing into his body which will help with his strength.
Davis is one of the dark horses in the lightweight division because of his inactivity. He is on a four-fight winning streak that dates back in 2019. Now with him fully healthy and ready to go, he is determined to showcase to fans that he deserves a ranking beside his name and some more respect.
I feel we are seeing a bit of recency bias in this matchup. Ziam looked great in his last matchup, but I still believe Davis is a horrible matchup for him. Davis is the best grappler Ziam has gone up against in recent fights, but Davis also has the striking to be competitive standing. Regardless, -140 on a spot like this is a hammer spot for me.
The Pick: Mike Davis -140
Shara Magomedov (15-0) vs Michael Page (22-3)
Capturing the eyes (see what I did there?) of UFC fans since arriving on the scene in October 2023, Magomedov has delivered on some abysmal performances for the most part. His last was his best, landing a knockout of the year type finish against Armen Petrosyan. Don’t let the last name fool you, Magomedov is muay thai specialist and not a wrestler.
It’s a shame it took so long for MVP to make it to the UFC, just about 2 months shy of his 38th birthday now. Regardless, he has shown us he is still capable of high-level performances and is still one of the best strikers on the planet. His elusive stylings, counter striking, and speed is still all there. Given the right matchup, we can still see him shine.
This is a spectacular matchup of two different strikers. Page is the better of the two, in my opinion. I feel he can set traps that Magomedov will walk into, allowing Page to land more eye-catching shots. Magomedov’s ego and recklessness will get him in trouble against a fighter of Page’s acumen, thus taking the underdog shot on Page is a no-brainer.
