UFC Paris Three Best Moneyline Bets

UFC Paris Three Best Moneyline Bets

Nora Cornolle (8-1) vs Jacqueline Cavalcanti (7-1)

After losing her first professional fight, Cornolle has been on a roll, winning 8 straight matchups, including her first two UFC fights. She brings an aggressive striking style to the table, always pressuring her opponents and leaning on her muay thai background. Read more UFC Paris three best moneyline bets.

Cavalcanti picked up a big win over Josiane Nunes just over a month ago and she jumps back into action immediately, looking to continue her 5-fight winning streak. Utilizing a disciplined and technical striking approach, Cavalcanti loves to stay at range and use her jab and kicks up the middle to pitter patter her way to decision victories. Originally from Portugal, she has set up camp in Las Vegas and taking full advantage of the UFC Performance Institute.

This is a rematch of a fight that took place in mid-2021. Cavalcanti picked up the decision win that night. It appears Cornolle was uncomfortable in the MMA realm as it was her pro debut, and she allowed Cavalcanti to dictate the pace. I expect this fight to play out much closer than their first meeting and I think the odds are skewed because of the initial result. I’ll look to back the Frenchwoman in her backyard to pull off a decision win, maybe with a little bit of hometown cooking.

The Pick: Nora Cornolle +170

Fares Ziam (15-4) vs Matt Frevola (11-4-1)

Ziam has struggled to maintain much consistency in the UFC but is now on a three-fight winning streak. His last fight was a tough one against a grappler who managed to get dominant positions, but Ziam was able to work out of them and get back to his striking advantage. High output, volume, and solid combinations is what you can normally expect from the Frenchman.

Frevola just had his three-fight winning streak snapped against the man who headlines this card, Benoit Saint-Denis. Now he looks to start another winning streak and going back to his wrestling roots. He’s strong from top position and does a great job of finding dominant positions to finish opponents. Knockout power is also something to worry about when throwing down in the pocket with The Steamrolla.

Showing some issues in his takedown defense last time against not that great of a wrestler, I expect Ziam to struggle immensely with the takedown game of Frevola. Ziam is not a huge power puncher either, so my concerns for Frevola’s durability issues are not that high. Look for the American to wrestle his way to victory here and cash as an underdog.

The Pick: Matt Frevola +110

Kevin Jousset (10-2) vs Bryan Battle (10-2)

Originally from France, Jousset has set up camp in New Zealand with the City Kickboxing crew to help further his career. He is riding a 5-fight winning streak, two of which have come with the UFC. Jousset uses an educated striking game to stay busy with kicks and combinations, but also has his judo to lean on which was the first martial art he began training.

Battle is now fully comfortable at 170lbs as this will be his sixth time making the weight. He also seems to be in his groove as he should technically be on a three-fight winning streak, but his last fight was stopped due to an unintentional eye poke. Relying heavily on pace, pressure, and activity, Battle often breaks his opponents by walking them down and smothering them with output. His cardio seems to be translating to this lower weight class, which will be a huge problem for his opponents.

Jousset is not a huge finisher, so I’m not too worried about him clipping Battle as Battle pressures him. Battle should not have too much issue keeping Jousset on the back foot and slowly breaking him down until he can find a finish late. Although Jousset is in a groove, it all comes down to matchups, and I think Battle is a bad matchup for him.

The Pick: Bryan Battle -160
