It is finally time for the big game! The NFL season is wrapping up, but not before we see who takes home the Lombardi Trophy. The Eagles and Chiefs will face off in a rematch of Super Bowl LVII. Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs are looking for a three-peat, while the Eagles and Jalen Hurts are trying to get revenge against the Chiefs. It could be the toughest test for the Chiefs in the past three years, as they must stop Saquon Barkley. We will find out Sunday night, but until then, I will help you pick a team to bet against the spread. Read more Trent’s Super Bowl pick.
Super Bowl LIX Preview
Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles beat the Commanders 55-23 last week in the NFC Conference Championship game. Saquon Barkley ran for 118 yards and three touchdowns, and A.J. Brown caught six passes for 96 yards and a touchdown.
Wide receiver Britain Covey (neck) is out, and there are three players with a questionable tag. Offensive lineman Nick Gates (groin) was limited all week, and tight end C.J. Uzomah (abdomen) practiced in full all week. Defensive end Brandon Graham (elbow) logged a full practice on Friday.
Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs beat the Bills 32-29 last week. Harrison Butker kicked a 35-yard field goal with three and a half minutes remaining in the game to take the lead, and the defense secured the victory on the other end. Xavier Worthy had six catches for 85 yards and a touchdown and was the difference-maker on offense. The only player on the injury report for the Chiefs is Skyy Moore (abdomen), who is doubtful after being limited all week.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Kansas City Chiefs Head-To-Head
The Chiefs are 17-2 against the spread this season, and the Eagles are 17-3, first and second in the league. Something has to give in this game, as the Chiefs are 1.5-point favorites. The biggest matchup in this game is Saquon Barkley versus the Chiefs’ defense. The Chiefs allowed 74.3 rushing yards per game and 0.6 touchdowns to the running back position. They also allowed 3.6 receptions and 25 receiving yards per game and did not allow a receiving touchdown to running backs this season.
The Eagles are the best team in the league at stopping the running back position. Isiah Pacheco and Kareem Hunt may have a tough night at the office. They allowed 80 yards and 0.3 rushing touchdowns per game to the position, with 4.25 receptions and 28 receiving yards. The Eagles also did not allow a receiving touchdown to running backs. The game could rely on the arms of Jalen Hurts and Patrick Mahomes. The Chiefs allow 234.3 passing yards per game, while the Eagles allow 202.9 per game. The Chiefs allow 27.1 rushing yards to quarterbacks, which could loom large against Hurts. It would not be surprising if this game came down to the last possession, as both defenses rank in the top five points allowed. I have to side with the Chiefs in that situation because they have Patrick Mahomes, who always makes the right decisions when it matters most.
