Thunder vs. Warriors Season Trends
The Thunder’s last two games have been strange. They lost to the Houston Rockets then beat that same Rockets team and scored 153 in the game. Shari Gilgeous-Alexander dropped 42 in that one and Josh Giddey flirted with a triple double.Â
After the Warriors beat Oklahoma City, they lost two in a row before responding with a victory over the Dallas Mavericks.Â
Unfortunately for the Warriors, Stephen Curry is out for multiple weeks with another injury, and that could be a massive blow to their playoff hopes. Golden State has won three home games in a row, so that helps. Golden State has also covered the money line in 8 home games as of late, but losing an NBA MVP candidate is a tough loss.Â
Betting Trends
The Thunder have covered the spread in 5 of the last 9 road games, and the Warriors have played well at home. However, things are much different without Curry in the lineup. Â
Both of these teams can score at a high clip, so go with the over here. But, the Warriors won’t have their best player in Stephen Curry and the Thunder walk into California and steal a road win to continue their impressive season.Â
Shia Gilgeous-Alexander will have a field day and Josh Giddey will perform well again. The Warriors will rely on Jordan Poole, who blossomed in Curry’s most recent absence, but it won’t be enough as the Thunder squeak out a close game.
The Pick
The Thunder have plus odds across the board, but the absence of Curry will loom large for Golden State. The Thunder get the upset win, cover the spread, and the OVER hits in an offensive outburst.Â

I like to wait a game or two before playing against a team with an injured all star (the rally effect). Will watch tonight but hope you win…
