Rams vs. Eagles Divisional Game Pick

Rams vs. Eagles Divisional Game Pick

The Eagles and the Rams will take the field at Lincoln Financial Field for a chance to go to the Conference Championship game. Both teams are familiar with big playoff games and have explosive offenses that will surely put on a show. Saquon Barkley ran for 255 yards in their first meeting this season, an Eagles’ franchise record. The game plan will revolve around him for the Eagles’ offense and the Rams’ defense, but who will come out on top? Read more Rams vs. Eagles divisional game pick below.

Commanders vs. Buccaneers Preview

Los Angeles Rams

The Rams took care of business against the Vikings last week in Glendale, 27-9. They were forced to give up home-field advantage because of the fires in Los Angeles, but it did not matter. The defense stepped up and forced two turnovers last week, but it will not be as easy this week. They could be without nose tackle Bobby Brown III (shoulder), who did not practice this week and is questionable. Left tackle Alaric Jackson (chest) is also questionable.

Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles forced four turnovers last week in their 22-10 victory over the Packers. They had control of the game from the start and beat the Packers for the second time this season. Defensive tackle Byron Young (hamstring) is out and is the only player they will be missing.

Los Angeles Rams vs. Philadelphia Eagles Head-To-Head

The first matchup between these teams in week 12 was a one-sided affair. The Eagles were down 7-3 after the first quarter, and Saquon Barkley took over the game. He had 302 total yards on offense and two scores. A.J. Brown added 109 yards and a touchdown on six catches. The Eagles also won the time-of-possession battle by four and a half minutes, which was key. They kept the ball out of the hands of Matthew Stafford and the Rams’ explosive offense.

The key to this game will be how the Rams deal with Saquon Barkley. It was undoubtedly their main focus as they prepared for this game, but will have to play in the hostile environment of “The Linc.” Home-field advantage will play a major factor in this matchup. Weather will also impact this game. The forecast calls for snow and rain at 33 degrees. That will benefit the Eagles, who average 178.7 rushing yards per game. The Rams rank 23rd with 103.1 rushing yards per game during the regular season. Luckily, Stafford has excellent receivers in Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp, who have solid hands. The return of Tyler Higbee in week 16 has also been huge for this offense. He has 10 receptions on 12 targets in his last two games despite leaving the game early last week with a chest injury. He is off the injury report and ready to help his team.

Prediction

Over/Under

The total for this game has been altered due to the weather, but I think these offenses are good enough to overcome the adversity. I like the over, still, with two teams who did a good job protecting the ball this season. Over 42.5

Spread

The Eagles’ ground game should be the difference in this game. I expect Jalen Hurts to have more designed runs, especially if the Rams are without their nose tackle. The “Tush Push” should come up big in key downs. Eagles -6.5

Player Prop

The Rams have struggled to guard tight ends this season. They allowed 6.3 receptions and 66.6 receiving yards to the position during the regular season. Goedert should impact this game despite only having four catches for 19 yards in their first meeting. Barkley will likely not have another historic game, and other players must step up. He averaged 45.7 yards and 3.7 receptions on 16 targets over his last three games. Dallas Goedert Over 37.5 Receiving Yards -115
