College Football Week 6 Redemption
It’s time to bounce back from a terrible week. I got suckered like everyone into Georgia laying the points on the road. This week I see some very good teams playing at home, sure to cover. I’m high on the USC Trojans as well as the Wak Forest Demon Deacons. I have some other sleepers in here as well. Let’s take a look.
All odds courtesy of Fox Sports as of 10/5.
Colorado State at Nevada (-3.5)
Friday, 10/7 at 10:30 pm EST on Fox Sports 1
Friday night the Nevada Wolf Pack should have no trouble covering against the hapless 0-4 Colorado State Rams. Reports are that QB Clay Millen is questionable. Either way let’s lay the points and take the home team. Pick: Wolf Pack -3.5
#17 TCU at #19 Kansas (+7)
Saturday, 10/8 at 12:00 pm EST on Fox Sports 1
Kansas is now ranked #19 and nothing has changed. They still have a great QB and a very good coach. This team believes they can beat anyone. The Big 12 is upside down and this line is just too high for a superstar like Jalon Daniels. Too many points to get at home. Pick: Kansas +7
#6 USC at Washington State (+13)
Saturday, 10/8 at 7:30 pm EST on FOX Network
The USC Trojans is a very good undefeated team at home. The Trojans have been overpowering all their opponents this year. I just don’t see Washington State being able to stay with the Trojans for four quarters. Lay the points. Pick: Trojans -13
Wake Forest at Army (+17)
Saturday, 10/8 at 7:30 pm EST on SESN
Wake Forest is playing an out of conference opponent, the Army Knights at home in what looks to be a lopsided clash. The Demons just off a win at Florida State and a double overtime loss against Clemson are ready to blow out the Knights. Pick: Demons -17
