A Runner
I had yet another winning week at 3-2, bringing the season to 13-10-1. This is a 56% winning percentage. We’re giving these away for free, folks. We love Wake Forest, NC State and more!
On the board this week are some big lines. I hate to lay more than seven, but sometimes it just makes sense. Let’s talk some football.
The Standings
Thru Week 8 Records | Wins | Losses | Push | Winning % |
Paul | 13 | 10 | 1 | 54% |
Nate | 25 | 28 | 2 | 45% |
Jack | 26 | 33 | 0 | 44% |
Virginia Tech Hokies at NC State Wolfpack (-13.5) (o/u 39)
Kickoff: Thursday, October 27th at 7:15 EST on ESPN
It seems like everyone has been able to run up the score on the Hokies this year, so why not the Wolfpack at home on national TV after a bye week? Seems logical. This game for the Wolfpack is after only two losses this season to Clemson and Syracuse both on the road. NC State  is a very good team and the Hokies are not. Pick: Wolfpack -13.5
#10 Wake Forest Demon Deacons at Louisville Cardinals (+3.5) (o/u 64)
Kickoff: Saturday, October 29th at 3:30 pm EST on the ACC Network
The might Demons continue to play great football. They’re very consistent with their only loss being to Clemson in double OT. The Tigers have proved to be the clear leader once again in the ACC, as they’re ranked #5 overall, but the Demons are close behind them at #10. The Cardinals have lost to both Boston College and Florida State and the Demons have trounced both of those putrid squads. Pick: Demons -3.5
Oklahoma State Cowboys at Kansas State Wildcats (-1.5) (o/u 64.5)
Kickoff: Saturday, October 29th at 3:30 pm EST on FOX
No way I can pass up getting points with the Cowboys who I feel are the best team in the Big 12. They have covered several times for me this season, because they are a quality team with great coaching and are excellent on offense, defense, and special teams. I see the Cowboys pulling off a win here after that tough loss last week at TCU. Pick: Cowboys +1.5
Oregon Ducks at Cal Golden Bears (+17) (o/u 58.5)
Kickoff:Â Saturday, October 29th at 3:30 pm ESTÂ
The Ducks and QB Bo Nix (17 TD, 3 Int) are scoring at will and should continue this week against the mediocre Golden Bears. Stay with the trend here. Pick: Over 58.5
Baylor Bears at Texas Tech Red Raiders (-2) (o/u 62.5)
Kickoff: Saturday, October 29th at 7:30 pm EST on ESPN2
This may look too obvious, but these two teams can score in bunches and it may be over at half. Pick: Over 63.5
