Jaguars vs. Jets Odds and Best Bets
JAGUARS VS. JETS ODDS AND BEST BETS - The Jacksonville Jaguars (6-8) pack their bags and head north to try and defeat the New York Jets (7-7) and their mighty defense.
The Jaguars are a team on a mission after upsetting both the Tennessee Titans and Dallas Cowboys. The have the division lead in their sight as they ride the Trevor Lawrence Show and their terrific offense to victory after victory.
The Jets will start Zach Wilson for the second straight game as Mike White is still not cleared to play. New York will lean on their incredible secondary and terrific defensive front to disrupt the Jaguars' offensive game script and steal another victory.
Both of these teams are still very much in the playoff hunt, so this game should be a doozy.

Nate's Pick
Time to play weatherman here. It is going to be unpleasant on the field, in the stands and watching from the comfort of your couch.
There’s supposed to be about two inches of rain before the game in addition to winds in the 15 mph range. Wet, sloppy and windy in not conducive to a high-scoring game.
We really need the Jags to win here, but I’m just going to root for them as a long time fan who has been actively interested in this team since at least July of 2022.
For bets, give me under 37. The unders tend to hit with a high frequency on Thursday under hood conditions. I’ll take in now when the weather also sucks with two unreliable offenses

The Jets have the best defense in the NFL. This is a must win game for New York.
A loss all but knocks them out of the AFC playoff race. Zach Wilson had some decent throws last week and perhaps the benching helped his maturity. We’ll see.
Meanwhile Jacksonville had another improbable win over Dallas and they now believe that, with all Tennessee’s injuries, they can win the AFC South.
Let me bottom line this game: I’m betting the Jets ferocious defense at home. It’s that simple. This is make or break.
