Quarterback
Derek Carr – $5,500
Carr produced a top-three QB finish last week against the Rams, as he threw for three TDs and 319 yards.
He draws another easy matchup this week. The Buccaneers are the worst team in the league in passing yards allowed per game.
Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed were his favorite targets, getting 13 and nine, respectively. Alvin Kamara could also get featured more as a pass-catcher, as the Buccaneers are stout against the run.
The Saints need to win to increase their chances of making the playoffs. Carr needs to produce this week, and he is a good value play for the main slate.
Bryce Young – $4,900
Bryce Young is another quarterback coming off a 300-yard game. It was the first time hitting that mark in his career. He is getting more confident in this offense and is walking into another great matchup.
The Jaguars allow 257.1 passing yards per game and have struggled with injuries in their secondary. He is the best option among the quarterbacks for $5,000 or less.
Running Back
Khalil Herbert – $5,400
D’Onta Foreman was inactive on Sunday, and Herbert took advantage of the opportunity. He ran 20 times for 112 yards and a touchdown.
He played 51% of snaps, and Roschon Johnson played 46% and received 12 total touches.
Herbert averaged 5.6 yards per carry and was a workhorse as the Bears coasted to a victory over the Cardinals. They play the Falcons at home this week, and the Bears are three-point favorites. Herbert could be featured extensively again if the Bears get a lead.
Najee Harris – $5,000
Harris received 19 touches compared to Jaylen Warren’s 13.
Harris produced 78 yards on the ground, and Warren had 24 rushing yards and 30 in the air. Seattle is not good against the run, as they allow 129.6 rushing yards and 23.5 points per game. Mason Rudolph is in line to start, and Harris may trusted again.
Wide Receiver
Demarcus Robinson – $4,600
Robinson has played at least 85% of snaps for three consecutive weeks and appears to be the third receiver on the depth chart.
He has caught a TD in four straight games. There is likely touchdown regression on the horizon, but it may not be this week.
The Giants have quarterback problems and a struggling defense. Robinson should play the majority of the game and have big-play potential.
Tight End
Juwan Johnson – $3,400
Travis Kelce will probably draw a lot of ownership this week against the Bengals, who struggle against tight ends, but Juwan Johnson is a cheap, low-owned pivot.
He averages four targets per game and received seven a week ago in a pass-heavy scheme.
He can be paired with Carr cheaply and offer a decent avenue to get to studs like Tyreek Hill and Christian McCaffrey.
