New York Giants Report: Five WR’s to Target
NEW YORK GIANTA REPORT: FIVE WR’S TO TARGET –Â The New York Giants are obviously in need of WR help in order to improve upon this year’s performance and bail out Daniel Jones.
With excellent cap space available, GM Joe Schoen should have some nice options to look at. Here are five WR’s the Giants should target.

Deandre Hopkins
Arizona Cardinals star receiver, Deandre Hopkins, is very likely to be traded this off-season.
In his 9 games in the 2022 season,  he had 64 catches, 717 yards, and 3 TDs. Hopkins is expected to cost 19.5 million in a trade, which is something the Giants can do, especially if they cut or trade WR Kenny Golladay.
With Hopkins’ incredible route running talent, his separation, and his ability to come down with some improbable catches, he’d be a great weapon to add for the Giants.
Tee Higgins
The Cincinnati Bengals can’t pay both Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, so what does that mean for the perennial Super Bowl contendor?
It’s likely that the Bengals will pay Chase and trade Higgins. Higgins is essentially a WR 1b in the Bengals offense. This season’s he totaled 74 catches, 1,029 yards, and 7 touchdowns. The 24-year-old would be a great addition for the Giants offense.
This would allow New York to stay young at wide receiver without wasting the time needed to develop a new talent.
With the amount of cap space the Giants have, they should be able to put together a nice offer and deal to Higgins.
Brandon Aiyuk
Aiyuk would definitely fit into Brian Daboll’s offensive scheme. With the 49ers low cap space, San Francisco may not be able to pay Aiyuk in the off-season so a trade is possible.
Aiyuk has had a career year with 78 catches, 1,015 yards, and 8 touchdowns. Aiyuk’s explosiveness would be a huge help for the Giants offense, which struggled to produce big plays through the air.
The Giants have the draft capital to make a move and Aiyuk is a proven wide out so this trade would make a ton of sense to make.
Chris Godwin
If Tom Brady leaves the Buccaneers this off-season, keep an eye out for a potential Chris Godwin trade.
Godwin is a physical receiver and would make a great first option for Jones and the Giants. Godwin had 104 catches, 1,023 yards, and 3 touchdowns in the 2022-20232 season.
He would be very successful in a Daboll offense. He’s 26-years-old and would cost about $20 million, but =, with a potential Golladay move to clear up even more space, the Giants could swing the Godwin’s price tag.
Odell Beckham, Jr…
The only free agent wideout the Giants may target is Odell Beckham, Jr.
Odell is coming off his second ACL injury and met with the Giants back in November.
Schoen has said that they had a great dinner, so could they get a deal done in March? OBJ wouldn’t make sense as a number one, but he’d make a nice second or third option and his speed could allow him to run go routes and clear out the middle of the middle of the field for Jone.
The move would make an incredible depth piece and the Giants could still draft a first option at receiver or trade for one. After having two ACL surgeries, he may also be really reasonably cheap against the cap.
