JOHNNY’S QUICK PICKS

NORMAN, Oklahoma

I love March Madness! Our hot as a chili pepper run continues with an easy Texas win -2.5 last night. Although we lost our hockey game (Islanders suck) that win put us at 10 wins in our last 11 picks.  My daily picks balance is all black! I’m going back to well today with the Buffs.

College Hoops

Colorado (-1) Vs. Florida

The Buffaloes are playing great, solid basketball of late— winning 9 of their last 10 games overall. Their only defeat was at the hands of Oregon in the PAC-12 title game.

I love the fact that Colorado is a veteran group that starts four seniors that look to be stepping up their game late in the season. It’s now or never for them. Wise guy money has been lavished on Colorado in the last 24 hours, moving the line from plus 2 to minus 1. Seniors are the determining factor.

Pick: Colorado -1

Houston (-24) Vs. Longwood

Ok folks 24 is a lot. But Longwood is getting blown out. The reason I like Houston here is they got smoked in the Big 12 crown game by Iowa State on national TV. They were embarrassed and humiliated from the get go. It’s payback time. Longwood is in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Pick: Houston (-24)
