NHL
Toronto (-135) at Washington
Are you kidding me? I have lost all 15 bets on the Caps this season – I bet on them they lose and play like crap – I bet against them they blow out my teams. UGH! How long will it last?
Call me crazy, but I’m going with the Leafs tonight. Toronto is a superior team in every measurable category. The Caps have lost nine of 11 to the top 10 NHL ranked teams. They dine off the bottom feeders.
The Leafs are finally are starting to beat bad teams, going 7-2 over their last nine against non-playoff or bubble teams.
Head to head, the Leafs have gone 6-1 over Washington in their last seven games. Caps can’t compete at this level right now.
Pick: Leafs (-130)
College Hoops
Colorado (-3) Vs. Boise State
The Buffs played great down the stretch in the Pac-12, only losing a tough game to Oregon for the conference crown. Before that they reeled off eight wins in a row.
On the flip side, Boise State played four games against Power 5 conference teams and went 0-4 straight up. In essence, they can’t beat a good team. Interesting this game is only minus three, should be minus seven. The Buffs get no love in Vegas. I’ll give them some love here. They are a better team and -3 is a gift.
