NHL

Buffalo (-105) at Seattle

The Kraken have packed it in. I bet them Saturday night in a must-win game at home and they puked the puck. Seattle lost 4-1 to a tired Nashville squad and barely competed.

Seattle is toast. It has lost four of its first five games in this make or break homestand. This was the Kraken’s shot to peak at the playoffs and now they look pathetic.

The Sabres have shown signs of life. The Red Wings bushwhacked them last time out, but I think they rebound here. I think Seattle goes 0-5 in this homestand and starts making after season plans. Turn out the lights; the party’s over in Seattle.

When do the Mariners open? Sorry, no more hockey in the Pacific Northwest.

Pick: Sabres (-105)
