NHL

Detroit (+105) at Buffalo

The Red Wings are a desperate team. They are 0-3 thus far on a four game road trip, and they’ve dropped five straight. It’s now or never, as they are fighting for a playoff berth. Truth be told: all five losses were against really good teams. The Sabres have underwhelmed all season and they are not likely to make the playoffs.

Detroit loves to whip bottom feeders, as they are 7-2 against non-playoff teams in their last nine games.

It’s Rebound-A-Roni for the Wingers!

Pick: Wings (+105)

Rangers (+1.5 goals -185) at Carolina

Whenever I can bet the better team and take 1.5 goals I’m going to jump on it.

The Rangers are 19-10 on the road this season and are 6-2 in their last eight games against the Hurricanes.

NY got crushed in Raleigh in January 6-1. Paybacks are best served cold, on ice.

Pick: Rangers (+1.5, -185)

Arizona at Wild (-190)

No bet is a bad bet against Arizona. The Coyotes are the worst team on the planet.

PICK: WILD (-190)
