National Championship
Washington (+4.5) Vs. Michigan
Who can stop them?
I love the Huskies tonight. They are moving the ball downfield with precision, and their offensive line is the best it college football. Michael Penix gets no respect, and either does Washington. They have been undervalued and under-rated all year.
Remember, Michigan stopped Alabama in the first half last week because of pressure on the QB and five sacks in the first half. Once Nick Saban got to half-time and made the adjustments, the Tide had wide open receivers all over the field.
Michigan’s offense is based on JJ McCarthy’s legs. Not a good plan in a game like this. If Michigan can’t pressure Penix, what happens? Did Texas stop Washington at all last week? No. Too much firepower. Take the points, sit back and have fun with the Penix Pin-Ball Machine.
Pick: Washington (+4.5)
NHL
Pens (-125) at Flyers
Philly beat Pittsburgh twice in early December, with both games to overtime. I’m sick of losing in OT!
It’s time for a little Penguins revenge. Prior to December, the Penguins beat Philadelphia seven of eight and eight of 10. So let’s roll with the Pens! Turnabout is fair play!
