2023 MLB Godzilla Season Stats
125-98 Plus +$55
*Based on all wagers at $100 per game at money or run line odds as specified in Draft Kings. Note: If money line is -$150, we are laying $150 to win $100, etc. If we take +$130 and we win, we win $130 for our $100.
White Sox (+105) at Yankees
The once pathetic-looking White Sox have reeled off four in a row and five of six. This team has always been better than their early season woes.
New York has hit just .216 as a team over their last seven games with an on-base percentage of .276.
Chicago’s opponents have hit an anemic .183 against them over their last seven games averaging just 3.7 runs per game against.
Lance Lynn has the stuff, can he bounce back from a last start shellacking tonight? Yes.
Pick: Chicago White Sox (+105)
Kansas City (+1.5 Runs, -130) at Marlins
Jordan Lyles has been solid and yet his record does not reflect it. Things even out in baseball and this is a spot for a competitive Royals game.
Miami’s Edward Carbrera has walked 36 batters in 58 innings. Oh my. In the immortal words of the late great Frankie Frisch: “Oh, those bases on balls!”
Pick: Royals, +1.5 (-130)
Mets at Atlanta (-130)
Ha ha ha. Mets suck right now. A game under .500, losers of four straight, and 6.5 GB of the Eastern crown. It’s the Padres of the NL East. All hat, no cattle. Atlanta loves to beat the Mets. Uncle Charlie says grab some pine.
Pick: Braves (-130)
Cards at Rangers (-155)
This is an easy pick. The Rangers are hot. The Cards are not. Two teams going in opposite directions. Jonny Gray is 6-1 with a 2.51 for Texas.
Jack Flaherty just can’t find it so far: WHIP 1.92, ERA 4.55. I bet him last start and took the pipe. I might be stubborn, but I’m not stupid.
Pick: Rangers (-155)
Twins at Rays (-130)
Catch me if you can. Carlos Correa hitting below the Mendoza Line. LOL. Twins losing again on the road. Didn’t we boycott Target?
