It’s MLB picks time! All work and no play makes Godzilla a dull boy! I’m going with some home cooking tonight in @Mariners @Rockies and the poor @Royals need some love! Alex Cobb hot for @SFGiants check out https://t.co/Qvjt8Th2Ud for all the fun! pic.twitter.com/HK2BEJuGXw

Brewers at Seattle (-130)
It’s very tough to sweep the Mariners at home. Milwaukee won last night in extras, but sweeping Seattle in their home park is no easy feat. Both starters have struggled this season, but Eric Lauer for the Brew-crew is Mr. Gopher Ball – he’s given up four moonshots in 15 innings. Plus the M’s are 9-1 in their last 10 games against lefty starters.
Pick: Seattle (-130)
Texas at Kansas City (-110)
The Royals look pathetic, having lost five in a row while the Rangers are red hot.
Brady Singer has gotten lit up this season. He can’t get a candle out. Last year he was downright dominant, so when does the 2022 Singer show up? How about now? When things look too good to be true, they usually are not. The Royals need to avoid the sweep at home. This is simple: sweeping teams on the road (except the A’s) is very tough to do in the MLB.
Pick: Royals (-110)
Pittsburgh at Colorado (+110)
Same scenario here, as the upstart Pirates look for the three-game series sweep on the road. The Rockies have been downright awful and have lost seven straight. Johan Oviedo is on the bump for the Bucs, and he will get banged around tonight. The Rocks are due for a breakout game. Sweeping Denver at home is not a good play.
Pick: Rockies (+110)
SF (-110) at Miami
It’s all about Alex Cobb. He’s the SF ace and their stopper. I love to play aces to stop losing streaks. Miami isn’t that good – and the Giants aren’t that bad.
Pick: Giants (-110)
