John Fredericks: Best MLB Wagers for Tuesday, May 30

JOHN FREDERICKS: BEST MLB WAGERS FOR TUESDAY, MAY 30 – Yesterday was a clown show. We went 1-5 and spit up -$555.

Put it in the rear view mirror. We need to weather the bad days. We are still 110-82 and plus +$320 on the season.

Time to start winning again!

Braves (-1.5 Runs, -145) at Oakland

The A’s won their one game for the week. That’s it until mid-June.

Pick: Braves (-1.5 Runs, -145)

Pods (+130) at Miami

We have waited and waited for Miami’s Sandy Alcantara to round back into form but it just hasn’t happened. Last outing was better but still no cigar. At some point in our lifetime, San Diego has to start playing better baseball or they face Dodger oblivion.

Pick: Padres (+130)

Reds (+150) at Boston

Don’t look now but the Red-legs have won three straight and they are a great value play tonight! Get this: the Reds have averaged 6.7 runs per game over their last seven games while hitting .333 as a team. Where did that come from?

Boston is averaging 2.1 runs a game over their last seven and the team average is .223 over that stretch.

The Red’s Ben Lively has been solid this season: 2.68 ERA and WHIP of .090.

Pick: Reds (+150)
