Sunday April 9

Astros (-110) at Twins (-110)

While Houston has looked equally both anemic and pathetic during their underwhelming 3-6 start, the Twins look legit early. 

The problem is sweeping Houston is an almost impossible feat. While rookie Hunter Brown got blitzed by Chicago in his first start at home, I look for a road bounce back. His stuff is electric if he can find the plate. 

Astros relievers are relatively rested in this series while the Twins burned the whole bullpen to go up 2-0. 

Pick: Houston -110

Cards at Brewers (-155)

This is your perennial bounce back game. After getting pummeled last night 6-0 at home I look for the Brew Crew to ambush St. Louis here. 

Woolford got crushed in his first start for the Cards, allowing three gopher balls, while Milwaukee’s starter Freddy Peralta was dominant, no runs in seven. 

Pick: Milwaukee  -155

Jays at Angels (-130)

The Angels today at home fall into one of my top MLB system plays and I really like this pitching matchup for Los Angeles today. The Halos have hit .344 as a team lifetime against Toronto’s Kikuchi with an on base percentage of .404 and slugging percentage .622. 

Anaheim has averaged six runs per game at home this season while holding opponents to just 3.6 runs per game. 

Toronto’s opponents have averaged 5.2 runs per game against them (I told you their pitching sucks) while averaging just 4.2 runs per game against lefty starters. 

The Angels rock in day games so far (3-0) allowing 1.3 runs per game and holding teams to a .194 batting avg. against them. Plus- You have to bet the Angels on Easter Sunday! Angels in the outfield!
