Godzilla’s 12-2 ATS College Football Rampage

MORGANTOWN, West Virginia—

2023 College Football Record ATS: 12-2

We are smoking hot the first two week of the college football season at 12-2. Now with a couple of games under our belt, lets keep it going!

We are live in Morgantown for the Mountaineers backyard brawl against hated Pitt. So lets cut the small talk and get right to it!

Pitt at WVU (-2.5)

The Mountaineers are solid up front on both sides of the ball. They played a competitive game against Penn State two weeks ago on the road and then blew out a D-2 type opponent in Duquesne University. This is the biggest game of the year for WVU, and head coach Neil Brown’s job depends on getting a W.

WVU is better then they look.

On the flip side, the Panthers got beat last week at home by the Bearcats and showed some real weaknesses on defense.

Pick: West VA (-2.5)

FSU (-24.5) at Boston College

This is the ACC opener for both teams. Here is the problem: the Golden Eagles needed a last minute rally to beat Holy Cross last week. They face a Seminoles team that has scored 111 points in two games while averaging 524 yards per game. Their QB Jordan Travis is a beast. Blow out.

Pick: FSU (-24.5)

Penn State (-14) at Illini

Nittany Lions coach James Franklin, who is an class-A jack-ass, likes to run up scores against inferior teams to show off to the NCAA, or make up for the fact he’s a creep. Either way, it leads me to go with Penn State and lay the wood.

Yes, State is 3-2 against the Illini in Champagne in their last five games, including last season’s bizarre nine-OT loss. The reality is the Nittany Lions are averaging 509 yards per game with the 15th ranked offense in college football.

Illinois in ranked as the 124th defense in the college football, giving up over 500 yards a game. Yikes, a bad combo for the dog here.

Pick: Penn State (-14)

LSU at MS State (+9.5)

Bring out the cowbells in Starkville! The Bulldogs knocked off Arizona last week.

It’s for LSU coach Brian Kelly to just STFU. Everybody is sick of him running his mouth likes he’s God’s gift to college football. His team is over-rated.

Pick: MS State (+9.5)

Kansas State at Mizzou (+5.5)

I love this game! Big 12 Vs. SEC. Passing frenzy (K-State) Vs. Handoff O-Rama (Mizzou). Old school football.

Neither team has played anybody! K-State has scored over 40 in four straight games. I’m going with the Tigers, three yards and a cloud of dust. Old school beats New School.

Pick: Mizzou (+5.5)

TN (-5.5) at Florida

Newsflash: the Volunteers are for real. The Gators are not. Tennessee is just a much better team as the Gator resurgence runs into reality today in the swamp. These are not your father’s Gators.

Pick: Tennessee (-5.5)

South Carolina at Georgia (-26.5)

Come on. This is a joke. The Bulldogs will win this game by 40+. Who can stop them?

Pick: Georgia (-26.5)

SDSU at Oregon State (-24.5)

It’s Beaver Ball! Lets see, San Diego State beat these three football powerhouses: Ohio, Idaho State and UCLA. In so doing, they gave up 428 yards a game.

The Beavers have one of the best run defenses in football. So SDSU has to throw a lot. Can you say pick six?

Pick: Beavers (-24.5)
