This is essentially the most important game of the weekend in regards to teams that have something to play for, as Tottenham try to wrap up in 7th place to gain a Europa Conference League spot and as Leeds are obviously fighting to avoid Premier League relegation.Â
Unlike the Bundesliga, the Premier League already has the title decided, as Manchester City hit the gas and Arsenal collapsed under the pressure. But there’s still plenty to be decided and 10 matches on the docket for Sunday, making for a great finish to the season.
Just 90 minutes of the 2022/23 Bundesliga season remain, and in that time new legends and heroes will be born – potentially, none more so than ones in yellow and black, with Dortmund entering the finale just one win away from breaking Bayern’s decade-long stranglehold on the Meisterschale.
It’s now Matchday 34 in the Bundesliga, as the German soccer season comes to a close. That means all nine matches played simultaneously, and that means the chance to try for a major parlay.
Will the win streak continue? Will Roberto Firmino end his amazing Liverpool career with a win at Anfield?
Two weeks left, and still nobody blinks, as each of the remaining title contenders – Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund – won with ease again last weekend. In matchweek 32, the immovable colossi scored 11 goals between them to keep the gap at just a point in current champions Bayern’s favor, as Dortmund thrashed Borussia Mönchengladbach 5-2.
ManU are currently sitting in 4th place in the Premier League but they can feel Liverpool breathing down their neck after two consecutive disappointing results. In their last match, they fell 1-0 to West Ham United thanks to David De Gea’s blunder between the sticks.Â
Thirty-one rounds gone, and now just three to go. What more can be said at this point? Once again, it’s still tight at the top with just a point separating Dortmund from Bayern Munich, with neither blinking in the previous round.
There has been little to separate Bayern Munich from Borussia Dortmund for months, leaving the two leading lights of German football set to trade blows until the bitter end. With three games remaining, Bayern look set to make it 11 league titles in a row despite leading by just one point.
