While the United States fights for its life in Copa America, Canada is set up for a triumph. Les Rouges took care of business against Peru, and they now have a golden opportunity against an aging Chile. Once upon a time, this would have been a frightening fixture for the Canadians, but La Roja isn’t the team it once was.

Looking to rebound from a loss in his home country to Sean Woodson back in January, Jourdain looks to bring his exciting striking stylings to a solid out crowd once again. It’s obvious Jourdain will likely never find himself in title contention but will always be a reliable fighter for the UFC to throw onto cards like this to bring the fireworks and put on an exciting show. He is a fun striker, has some slick BJJ, but doesn’t seem to have what it takes to get over the hump.
There are two mainstays to play DFS for MMA; DraftKings and FanDuel. Each has its own scoring rules and variations, but they are similar. Here are DraftKings’ scoring rules and FanDuel’s scoring rules. I will always list fighters I think should be selected as MVP at the top and will use DraftKings budget to model my projections.
This was supposed to be it. This was supposed to be the night Conor McGregor made his long-awaited return. Tickets were sold (at egregious prices), flights and hotels were booked, the trailers and promos were being aired. Then, it all came crashing down with reports of McGregor suffering a minor injury that will postpone his matchup with Michael Chandler, likely until late Q3/early Q4.
The biggest question in the American camp is how they’ll handle a side that can actually press forward. Bolivia never came close to threatening to get back in the match. Panama is a step above that, but it’s still a side that the Americans should handle. Whether the U.S. plays to its potential will tell a lot about what to expect as the matches get tougher.
The PGA Tour rolls into the Motor City to play the rocket Mortgage Classic and the Detroit Golf Club. As a side bar, any time you get an invite to a golf course named after the city in which it lies, most times than not, it will be a real treat (think LA Country Club, Milwaukee Country Club, St Louis Country Club), Detroit Golf Club is no exception.
Unlike the Euros, only two sides per group qualify to the knockout stages. Losing to Argentina wasn’t a surprise, but it does put the pressure on Canada. To progress, the Canadians need results against both Peru and Chile.
Edmonton seemed to be a freed team when it came into Game 4 and just went out and played. Nobody expected anything from the Oil in that game, and they played their best hockey of the series. Now they have expectations and something to lose. The Oilers are so close to making the most of Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl, and they might never get this close again.
