I need a bounceback week to keep my overall record in the green. Let’s see what the numbers are cooking up, starting with my current power rankings, sponsored by AOL Instant Messenger.
It’s a pair of 1-4 teams in the Windy City, as the Chicago Bears square off with the Minnesota Vikings in Week 6.
Ravens fans’ negative association with London is nothing compared to the nauseousness conjured by the name Derrick Henry. Four years ago, the future Hall of Famer derailed the most special season I’ve ever witnessed as a Ravens fan. It was a nightmare watching him rip off one huge gain after another en route to a historic 195-yard rushing performance.
One of the Chiefs’ superstars is in jeopardy of missing the game on a short week. The Broncos also have some injury issues and could be a different version of each team. The only thing guaranteed in this matchup is that Arrowhead Stadium will be loud.
Minnesota looked like they would cover the spread in their game, but this is a Kirk Cousins-lead team so it really shouldn’t be too surprising that they did not. His decision to look for a sack on the game’s final play was perfect vintage Kirk C. Now with Justin Jefferson out there’s really no good reason to watch this team.
James Conner also got hurt and could miss some time with a knee injury. Dobbs should get more designed runs and may have more chances to throw the ball without Conner moving forward.
Finally. Finally. The Dawgs played to their potential. Tthe back-to-back national champions looked like a contender. UGA got off to a fast start and played four quarters of football.
