It’s April and the major tournament season is upon us. As the only major venue that plays the same course every year, the Masters is always the most straightforward handicapping of the year. The wide fairways and difficult greens allow for a lot of different styles to have success here though.
There are two mainstays to play DFS for golf: DraftKings and FanDuel. Each has its own scoring rules and variations, but they are similar. Here are DraftKings’ scoring rules and FanDuel’s scoring rules. I will always list my favorite golfer at the top and will use DraftKings budget to model my projections.
Every single player knows where the holes will be located and how and where to try and play from to give them their best chances. That is one of the ways that AGNC can get into your head.
The headliner is clearly Rory McIlroy and whenever the Irishman is in the field he has a good chance to win. Simply said, if Rory putts well, he wins. The world may have never known a better driver of the ball and with that sort of weapon at his disposal, most courses, even on the PGA Tour can be whittled down to nothing more than driver, a variety of wedges, and mid to long irons into the par 5’s.
It is a terrifying week to be a golf bettor, as it appears that Scottie Scheffler finally got his putter squared away. He’s the defending champion this week, coming off a win at the API last week. At +550, it’s pretty difficult to recommend a bet here in what is typically the strongest field of the year for a golf tournament. Could he keep putting well and win the next four tournaments in a row? Absolutely.
The recent $3 billion investment into PGA Enterprises, spearheaded by high-profile figures like LeBron James, Drake, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Lindsey Vonn, has sent shockwaves throughout the sports industry.

It’s Super Bowl weekend and one of the greatest spectacles on the PGA Tour is upon us. Before we get into this tournament, it’s worth noting that another long shot has cashed a winning ticket with Wyndham Clark taking down the rain-shortened AT&T Pro-Am at odds of 100/1 (depending on your shop).
Pebble Beach isn’t exactly a tricky course, but it is challenging. The greens are extremely small so good iron players tend to be the best bets, broadly. Short game is also an important factor around Pebble simply because the greens are so small that a lot of players will miss them. Typically this is an easier version of Pebble to accommodate the amateurs, so the rough won’t be nearly as penal as it is for major championships. Getting up and down effectively will be critical for the eventual winner.Â
