But Hill hasn’t done anything beyond the past four games, and it’s unclear if he’s ready to stand up to the pressure of a conference final.

The most impressive aspect of Schmitt’s hot start has been his work at the dish. It’s not uncommon for first time call-ups to look good with the bat as opposing teams usually don’t yet have enough information to exploit weaknesses. After watching pitchers attack Schmitt with a variety of sequences, it looks like it’ll be a while before teams adjust to him, at which point it’ll be on him to adjust back. This looks like a vary possible reality ‘cause the kid has a solid plan in the box and swing to back it up. He uses the middle of the field extremely well and has more than enough bat speed to demolish mistakes.Â
For the Grizzlies, they have to think long and hard about the next steps. From a pure basketball standpoint, he’s worth every penny of that massive extension. From an organizational perspective, cutting ties with Morant would send Memphis back into a tough spot, especially with Dillon Brooks’ antics and his rumored departure this summer.Â
Unfortunately, that is where the good times ended for the Suns. They played the top-seeded Denver Nuggets to a stalemate through the first four games, with each team winning on its home court. I’m just gonna eat the chalk here. I want a winner, and the greatness of Larson around here is simply too tough to ignore. His average finishing position at Darlington is 9.2. Now, that may not seem high, but it’s actually second among driver with more two or more starts at this tracks.
