The Ole Miss Rebels will return to the gridiron in a month. This means two things: 1) I will commence the unhappiest time of my life and 2) I will argue that Ole Miss will go UNDER its wins total for the 2023 season.Â
The weak field means these players who we usually see at bargain prices (looking at you, Dough Ghim) are much more expensive. The challenge of a tournament like this is not picking at the top of the field, but finding some deep value among cheap players who have produced mercurial results thus far.Â
The PGA Tour heads north of the border this week for the 2023 Canadian Open. As is customary the week before a major event (the U.S. Open will be played next week), the Canadian Open is not an elevated event. This means that many of the world’s best golfers will take the week off in preparation for the US Open.

Then it happened. With the Hawkeyes down by two and 1.5 seconds on the clock, Clark came off a double screen on the inbounds play. Her defender fell down on the second screen. She caught the pass and shot an off-balance three as the buzzer sounded in the arena. The shot went in. Clark charged to the baseline, where Hawkeyes fans waited to greet her. The place erupted. It was one of the coldest moments I’d ever witnessed in a basketball game.Â
While it’s certainly important to be accurate with the driver, most golfers who are successful at TPC San Antonio do so because of ball striking and approach. The course ranks in the top ten in longest courses off the tee, but it’s also one of the least-penal courses on the TOUR.
